Echelon Elite Mobile Detailing — Terms & Conditions
1. Service Agreement
By booking services with Echelon Elite Mobile Detailing (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), the client (“Customer”) agrees to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all services provided, including but not limited to automotive detailing, ceramic coatings, paint correction, headlight restoration, tint removal, engine bay detailing, marine detailing, aircraft detailing, RV detailing, motorcycle detailing, and pressure washing services.
2. Deposits & Scheduling
- Certain services may require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking.
- Deposits secure the appointment date, time, labor allocation, and scheduling availability.
- Deposits may be transferable one (1) time with at least 48 hours notice.
- Failure to provide proper notice may result in forfeiture of deposit.
- Remaining balances are due immediately upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
- Appointments canceled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee.
- Same-day cancellations or no-shows may result in forfeiture of deposits and future booking restrictions.
- The Company reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to weather, safety concerns, equipment failure, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances.
4. Mobile Service Requirements
For mobile appointments, Customer agrees to provide:
- Safe and legal access to the service location
- Sufficient working space
- Access to electricity and water if required unless otherwise arranged
- A safe environment free from hazards, aggressive animals, or unsafe working conditions
The Company reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if conditions are deemed unsafe or unsuitable.
5. Pre-Existing Conditions
The Company is not responsible for:
- Pre-existing damage
- Worn, cracked, faded, peeling, or deteriorated surfaces
- Thin or failing paint
- Prior bodywork defects
- Rock chips, scratches, oxidation, etching, staining, or corrosion
- Electrical or mechanical failures
- Loose trim, emblems, wraps, decals, or accessories
Any pre-existing damage observed may be documented before service begins.
6. Paint Correction & Ceramic Coating Disclaimer
Paint correction improves but may not completely eliminate all paint imperfections.
Ceramic coatings:
- Require proper maintenance to maximize performance and longevity
- Do not make surfaces scratch-proof or damage-proof
- Do not prevent rock chips, impacts, accidents, vandalism, or improper washing damage
Results and longevity vary based on environmental exposure, maintenance habits, and vehicle condition.
7. Headlight Restoration Disclaimer
Headlight restoration results vary depending on lens condition, UV damage, internal deterioration, cracking, or prior repairs. Severely damaged headlights may not achieve like-new clarity.
8. Tint Removal Disclaimer
Tint removal may expose pre-existing damage, including:
- Defroster line damage
- Glue residue
- Discoloration
- Scratches
- Previously damaged glass
The Company is not responsible for pre-existing film failure or damage caused by improper prior installations.
9. Engine Bay Detailing Disclaimer
While care is taken during engine bay cleaning:
- The Company is not responsible for pre-existing electrical, sensor, battery, ignition, aftermarket wiring, or mechanical issues.
- Older or modified vehicles may carry increased risk during engine cleaning services.
Customers acknowledge these risks prior to service.
10. Marine, RV & Aircraft Service Disclaimer
For marine, RV, and aircraft services:
- Oxidation removal results vary based on age and condition
- Severe weathering may require multiple-stage restoration
- The Company is not responsible for structural defects, water intrusion, electrical failures, or hidden damage
Aircraft owners/operators remain responsible for ensuring all aviation maintenance requirements and regulatory compliance.
11. Pressure Washing Disclaimer
Pressure washing services may reveal pre-existing issues including:
- Loose paint
- Oxidation
- Cracked surfaces
- Weak concrete
- Failing caulk
- Existing water intrusion points
The Company is not responsible for damages caused by deteriorated materials or improper prior construction/maintenance.
12. Satisfaction Policy
Customer must inspect services upon completion and notify the Company of concerns before departure or within 24 hours of service completion.
Failure to notify within this timeframe constitutes acceptance of completed work.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by North Carolina and South Carolina law:
- The Company’s liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service rendered.
- The Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.
14. Weather & Environmental Conditions
The Company is not responsible for:
- Environmental contamination after service
- Water spotting caused after service completion
- Weather-related exposure
- Pollen, sap, bird droppings, hard water, or fallout occurring after delivery
15. Payment Terms
Accepted payment methods may include:
- Credit/debit cards
- Cash
- Digital payment platforms
- Approved financing/payment methods
Returned payments, chargebacks, or disputed transactions may result in additional fees and collections activity.
16. Photography & Marketing
Unless otherwise requested in writing, Customer grants permission for the Company to photograph vehicles, vessels, aircraft, motorcycles, RVs, or serviced property for marketing, training, advertising, and social media purposes.
No personal identifying information will be disclosed without consent.
17. Warranty Disclaimer
Except where specifically provided in writing:
- All services are provided “as-is”
- No guarantees or warranties are expressed or implied
- Maintenance outcomes vary based on usage, care, climate, and environmental conditions
18. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the States of North Carolina and South Carolina, as applicable.
