Yes, remove my old tint
+$50.00
Window tint removal involves removing existing film and adhesive from the vehicle’s glass. The condition, age, type, and previous installation of the film can affect the removal process and required labor.
Lake Effect Detailing will use professional removal methods and reasonable care; however, removal of existing film may reveal or contribute to pre-existing damage or deterioration that cannot be identified before removal.
By authorizing tint removal, the customer acknowledges and accepts the following:
• Rear-window defroster lines and antennas embedded in or attached to the glass may be damaged during removal, particularly when removing aged, deteriorated, improperly installed, or strongly bonded film.
• Lake Effect Detailing is not responsible for damage to defroster lines, antennas, aftermarket electronics, glass, trim, or other components resulting from pre-existing conditions, previous installation methods, deterioration, or adhesive/film failure.
• Some adhesive, staining, discoloration, scratches, contamination, or other defects may become visible after the existing film is removed.
• Removal pricing is based on expected labor. Severely deteriorated, bubbled, layered, or difficult-to-remove film may require additional labor and additional charges. Any significant additional charges will be discussed with the customer when reasonably possible.
• Tint removal does not guarantee that the glass will be suitable for immediate reinstallation of new film. Additional cleaning, preparation, repair, or replacement may be necessary.
By approving this service, the customer authorizes Lake Effect Detailing to remove the existing window film and acknowledges the risks associated with removal.
