and for the exterior we do the following
A full exterior detail with a one-step polish involves thoroughly cleaning and rejuvenating the exterior of a vehicle to restore its shine and luster.
The process typically begins with a thorough wash and clay bar treatment to remove any dirt, grime, or contaminants on the surface of the car. This helps to prep the surface for the polishing stage, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
Once the car is clean, a one-step polish is applied to the exterior surfaces. This polish is a mild abrasive compound that helps to remove light surface imperfections, swirl marks, and oxidation. It also helps to restore the color and shine of the paint, making it look glossy and fresh.
The polish is typically applied using a polishing machine or buffer, which helps to evenly distribute the product and ensure a consistent finish. The technician will work in small sections, buffing the polish into the paint until the desired level of correction is achieved.
After the polish has been applied and buffed off, a protective sealant or wax is often applied to protect the newly polished surface and lock in the shine. This helps to repel dirt, water, and UV rays, keeping the paint looking its best for longer.
