These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by Ricks Reflections Mobile Detailing, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By scheduling an appointment or using any of our services, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms in full.
1. General Policy
We are committed to providing a professional, reliable, and stress-free detailing experience. Our priority is the safety of your vehicle and the proper execution of all detailing services.
We reserve the right to refuse service at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to concerns about vehicle condition, safety, or accessibility.
Before service begins, you agree to inform us of any known mechanical, electrical, or cosmetic issues that may affect our ability to complete the job safely and effectively (e.g., low battery, non-functioning windows, stuck trunks, aftermarket modifications, etc.).
If your vehicle poses any potential health or safety hazard (e.g., presence of hazardous materials, biohazards, drug paraphernalia, etc.), you must notify us in advance. You will be held responsible for any harm or injury caused to our staff as a result of failure to disclose such risks.
2. Appointment Policy
Appointments are only considered confirmed once a deposit has been received. Deposits are due within 48 hours of scheduling; otherwise, the appointment may be canceled.
We strive to arrive as close to your scheduled time as possible. However, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, or prior jobs. You will be notified of any changes to your appointment time. Safety will not be compromised to meet schedules.
If your vehicle is inaccessible or you are not present at the time of service without prior communication, you will forfeit your deposit and may be charged for the full cost of the service.
Appointments involving multiple vehicles are considered multiple bookings. Each vehicle is subject to its own cancellation and rescheduling terms.
3. Pricing & Additional Charges
All pricing is based on vehicle size, condition, and the services requested. We reserve the right to adjust pricing after visual inspection or during service if additional time or materials are needed.
Additional charges may apply for:

Excessive pet hair

Stains or biohazards

Mold/mildew removal

Excessive trash or debris

Removal of personal belongings

Steam cleaning (when necessary)
All personal items must be removed prior to service. We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings left in the vehicle.
We do not remove or install car seats or aftermarket equipment (e.g., subwoofers, seat covers, pet barriers, etc.). If cleaning beneath such items is requested, they must be removed in advance by the customer.
4. Payment & Deposit Policy
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed. We accept cash, credit, and debit cards.
A deposit is required to secure all appointments. This deposit reserves your time slot and covers materials necessary to perform the service. By submitting your deposit, you agree to the full estimated invoice total and these Terms & Conditions.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy:

No-call / no-show or same-day cancellation: Deposit is non-refundable.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment: Deposit is non-refundable, but may be applied as a credit toward a future appointment at our discretion.

Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance: Deposit is fully refundable or transferable to a future booking.
A temporary authorization for the full invoice amount may be placed on your card 24 hours before your scheduled service. Final charges will only be processed after service is completed, unless prepayment is otherwise arranged.
Late payments (over 48 hours after service completion) are subject to a 1.5% monthly finance charge. We encourage you to contact us immediately if you anticipate any delays in payment.
All estimates are subject to change based on the final condition of the vehicle and the scope of work performed. You will be notified of any changes and must approve any additional charges before work continues.
Mechanic’s Lien Notice:
In accordance with applicable state law, including Kansas Statutes § 58-201 et seq., Ricks Reflections Mobile Detailing, LLC reserves the right to assert a mechanic’s lien on your vehicle for non-payment of services rendered. By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions, you acknowledge and authorize the company’s right to retain possession of your vehicle and file a lien until the balance is paid in full.
Failure to pay may result in legal action, including lien enforcement, recovery fees, and all associated legal costs.
5. Liability & Damage Policy
Ricks Reflections Mobile Detailing is fully insured. We are committed to handling your vehicle with care. However, we do not guarantee restoration to showroom or “like new” condition, especially when dealing with pre-existing damage, aging materials, or excessive wear.
You agree to the following:

We are not liable for pre-existing damage or weakened materials (e.g., loose panels, peeling clear coat, degraded upholstery, etc.)

We are not responsible for mechanical or electrical issues unrelated to detailing

Minor cosmetic damage (e.g., light scratches or wear from necessary cleaning processes) is not covered for reimbursement

Major damage caused by proven gross negligence or willful misconduct will be evaluated and, if accepted, repaired by a vendor of our choosing
You must report any concerns or claims within 24 hours of service. In cases where a touch-up or inspection is needed, we must be given the opportunity to correct the issue before any third-party service is performed.
6. Inclement Weather
As a mobile service, our work is weather-dependent. If weather conditions (rain, snow, wind, extreme heat/cold) prevent us from performing your service safely or effectively, we reserve the right to reschedule.
We will contact you as early as possible in such events and work with you to find a new appointment time. Please understand that urgent rescheduling (e.g., for special events or travel) may not always be possible.
7. Marketing & Media
By accepting our services, you grant Ricks Reflections Mobile Detailing permission to photograph or video your vehicle for marketing purposes. These materials will never be sold or distributed to third parties and will be used solely to showcase our work.
8. Indemnification & Legal
By booking a service, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ricks Reflections Mobile Detailing, LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and legal fees arising from:

Services performed

Conditions of your vehicle
-
Failure to disclose health or safety risks
-
Incidents occurring after the service is complete
This includes — but is not limited to — loss of use, property damage, or bodily injury.
9. Mobile Service Requirements
Clearly state what’s needed from the client for you to successfully perform your services:
Our services are performed on-site at your home or workplace. You must provide:

A safe, legal, and accessible location for service

Access to a standard outdoor water spigot (for exterior services)

Permission to operate on the premises (if you're not the property owner)
If conditions are deemed unsafe, inaccessible, or non-compliant, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the appointment, and your deposit may be forfeited.
10. Client Responsibility for Vehicle Condition
This clarifies client accountability for things you may discover during service:
Customers are responsible for disclosing the full condition of the vehicle at the time of booking or prior to service. Ricks Reflections Mobile Detailing is not liable for pre-existing damage, including fragile components, deteriorated clear coat, aftermarket parts, wiring, loose emblems, or hidden contaminants (e.g., mold, sharp objects, bodily fluids, etc.).
If during the course of the service we discover a condition that poses a health risk or could result in further damage, we may stop work until the issue is addressed.
11. Satisfaction Guarantee / Limitation of Outcome
Sets realistic expectations to prevent clients from demanding perfection:
While we strive for the highest quality results, we do not guarantee 100% removal of all stains, odors, defects, or scratches. Results depend on vehicle age, condition, materials, and prior damage. Paint correction, odor removal, and stain treatment results may vary by surface.
By booking service, you acknowledge these limitations and agree that perfection-level restoration may not be possible without additional or repeated services.
12. Third-Party Costs / Dispute Process
Protects you if a customer threatens to hire someone else or file a chargeback:
In the event of a dispute, customers agree to contact Ricks Reflections Mobile Detailing within 24 hours of service completion to allow us an opportunity to inspect and correct any issues. If a customer hires a third party to perform corrective work without allowing us to address the issue first, we will not be liable for reimbursement or repair costs.
Chargebacks or payment disputes initiated without proper communication may be treated as fraud and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
13. Acknowledgement
By scheduling an appointment, submitting a deposit or payment, or signing our service agreement (digitally or in person), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions in full.
This applies to all bookings made online, over the phone, in person, or through any other communication channel. A signed agreement is required prior to the start of service and serves as confirmation of acceptance of these terms.
Ricks Reflections Mobile Detailing, LLC reserves the right to update or revise these Terms & Conditions at any time, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
