Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions set forth herein reflect Odyssey Garage's policy with respect to each of its customers. All customers of Odyssey Garage agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth below.

Our philosophy is to offer a stress-free detailing experience for our customers.

Your vehicle and performing proper detailing techniques are our priority. We will not perform any service that shows the potential to cause harm or damage to your vehicle. Prior to Odyssey Garage performing services on your vehicle, you, the owner, will advise us of any cosmetic or mechanical issues that would prevent us from completing the detail.

These may include low battery, trunk permanently shut; windows do not roll down, etc…

Please let us know if your vehicle poses a potential threat to our health and/or safety. If there is the threat of any harmful substances (needles, drugs, gasoline, etc.) in the vehicle, you must let your detail technician know prior to your detail. You will be held responsible for any health and/or safety issues arising from your vehicle.

If your vehicle cannot be detailed once we arrive, you will still be charged the full amount of your scheduled appointment (this includes not being present once we arrive).

All personal belongings, money, and other significant items must be removed from the vehicle prior to any detailing. If areas such as the center armrest storage or glove compartment are not cleared, Odyssey Garage cannot clean them due to the customer’s private personal belongings.

Odyssey Garage respects your time and personal property, and we will always be polite and courteous. However, we reserve the right to refuse, deny, or continue with any service if we deem the customer unreasonable. We will not tolerate any verbal or physical abuse under any circumstances and will take the relevant action should any such behaviors be encountered.

Appointments

We will arrive as close to the scheduled appointment time as possible. However, sometimes situations can occur that will disrupt the daily schedule. Our safety will never be compromised by rushing to meet a schedule. You will be called/texted and advised of an arrival time when schedules change beyond our control.

We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice to change or cancel an appointment. Any cancellations with less than 24-hour notice are subject to a cancellation fee. Any services that required a deposit will be non-refundable if canceled less than 24 hours. 

If you wish to change your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, you will have the following two options:

  1. Reschedule your appointment at no additional cost to you. Though you will be charged for your appointment at the time of rescheduling, you may pick another day and time for Odyssey Garage to perform the detail.
  2. Convert your scheduled appointment to a gift card. If circumstances have changed (i.e., you sold your car and no longer have it), you may convert the full deposit amount of your scheduled appointment to a gift card for later personal use or to give as a gift.

Odyssey Garage reserves the right to withdraw this option for fleet vehicle/business vehicle bookings.

Services

Pricing varies for each vehicle and is determined by size, package, condition, and location.

There are NO GUARANTEES of bringing your vehicle back to a specific condition (i.e. Show Room New).

Odyssey Garage makes no promises when it comes to removing stains and/or odors from vehicles. We aim to please, so we try our best. Please be aware that some upholstery and carpets are beyond cleaning and may not completely clean up as expected. Some stains are permanent. We may consult you on what can and cannot be done regarding your vehicle’s interior.

Additional charges apply (starting at $35) for heavy stains, excessive pet hair, excessive debris removal, human excreta, personal item removal, and steam cleaning (if required) due to the additional time it takes.

Pet hair and sand are two of the most challenging items to remove from a vehicle with normal vacuuming. The removal of either element is not guaranteed with any of our service offerings. However, on most occasions, we successfully remove visible traces of both elements.

Bird droppings, bugs, splatter, sap, and tar will chemically etch into your vehicle's paint if left for a period of time. This will result in deep chemical marks on the paint that may need additional work to remove safely. And some cases, the mark cannot be removed completely without compromising the clear coat.

Odyssey Garage is not responsible for baked-on brake dust that cannot be removed entirely on the surface or deep within the wheel. Some wheels are beyond cleaning and may need to be repaired or replaced.

Under any circumstances, Odyssey Garage will NOT apply any chemicals, cleaning materials, solvents, or dressings to any vehicle's clutch, brake, or accelerator pedals.

If we have applied a ceramic coating to your vehicle's paint, trim, wheels, or Glass, and you opt out of our maintenance program to care for the coating, we are no longer responsible for any premature coating failure. Please consider having us maintain your vehicle coating every three months to ensure its durability for the next one or two years.

Any wax, sealant, or coating not properly cared for will not last its intended durability length. We recommend safely hand washing.

Property Damage

Each customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Odyssey Garage, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any damage, loss, expense, cost, claim, and liability (including attorney and legal fees) arising out of Odyssey Garage services, including without limitation, any accidental property damage not relating to the services performed. I acknowledge that the unique nature of Odyssey Garage's business may expose me to greater property damage risk, and I hereby assume such risk.

Odyssey Garage will neither install nor remove any car seats, booster seats, or custom equipment from your vehicle unless deemed absolutely necessary, and your approval and acceptance of these terms grant us permission to do so. Should you approve having seats or equipment removed, you agree to reinstall them. Due to child safety, Odyssey Garage will NOT attempt to re-install said seats or equipment, and the customer assumes all liability to ensure they are reinstalled correctly.

We will neither remove nor install car seats from your vehicle. If you would like your car seat cleaned underneath, please have it removed prior to your appointment.

We will neither remove nor install custom equipment from your vehicle. This includes but is not limited to, seat covers, subwoofers, light bars, pet protectors, and bumper stickers. If you would like these things cleaned underneath, please have them removed prior to your appointment.

Payment

We accept cash, Zelle, and credit cards. Payment is due at the completion of the detail. If payment was made online, your card will not be charged until after completion unless a deposit is required.

Failure to pay in full on the same day will result in a late charge of $50 occurred each month if left unpaid.

There may be an additional charge of $35 for Non-Sufficient Funds or Returned Payments.

Photographs and Video

We have your permission to take pictures or videos of your vehicle for marketing purposes. These will never be sold or given to third parties.

Photos of the vehicle(s) are taken prior to the start of service to maintain documentation of the vehicle's condition before and after services are performed.

Damage/Accidents

Reimbursement will not be paid for any minor cosmetic damage as a result of detailing your vehicle. Reimbursement will be paid for any major damage caused to your vehicle as a result of our gross negligence or willful misconduct. Odyssey Garage will approve the body shop and/or vendors before issuing any reimbursement.

If something arises after the detail that was not noticed during the final walk-around, you must contact us within 24 hours and, if needed, schedule a touch-up detail within 5 days.

Each customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Odyssey Garage, its owners, employees, and affiliates from and against any and all liabilities, expenses, damages, and costs, including attorney and legal fees, resulting from any service provided or injury after our services have been completed.
