Your vehicle and performing proper detailing techniques is our first priority. We will not perform any service that may cause harm or damage to your vehicle. If your vehicle poses a potential threat to our health and/or safety, please let us know. If there is the threat of any harmful circumstances or substances (needles, drugs, gasoline, etc.) in the vehicle, you must let your detail technician know prior to your detail. You agree to be responsible for, indemnify and defend Fort Worth Auto Detail from any health and/or safety issues, injuries and/or damage caused by any of the foregoing conditions or the contents of your vehicle.
Scheduling Services
- Fort Worth Auto Detail requires a 24-hour notice to reschedule any booking/detailing service. Failure to do so will result in a $50 rescheduling fee.
- Fort Worth Auto Detail reserves the right to alter or amend a booking time/date without penalty but will endeavor to let you know as soon as possible.
- Fort Worth Auto Detail reserves the right to change, delay or reschedule an appointment or the completion of the services due to weather conditions or other act of God, equipment failure, labor shortage, power or utility supply or any other unforeseen conditions without penalty.
Delivery of Vehicle for Services
If you have scheduled an appointment at Fort Worth Auto Detail, please understand that many of the services we provide require a significant amount of time (4 to 8 hours, or longer) and you are strongly encouraged to make arrangements to drop off/leave your vehicle. A key drop is available to assist with before/after-hours drop offs.
Payment
- Fort Worth Auto Detail requires a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the cost of the service(s) scheduled, which is due at the time of booking.
- Fort Worth Auto Detail requires payment to be made in full upon completion of service. If you are not present, Fort Worth Auto Detail will send an invoice via email that must be paid in full the same day. Failure to pay in full on the same day will result in (i) a late charge of 10% of the outstanding balance and thereafter, (ii) interest at the maximum rate permitted by law, accruing daily until the outstanding balance is paid in full.
- Fort Worth Auto Detail reserves the right to charge for services for each vehicle according to its condition and the type of vehicle, as the time and effort may vary based upon condition of the vehicle. The price will be communicated to you prior to the commencement of work.
Personal Belongings
- Please remove all personal belongings, money, and other significant items from their vehicle prior to any type of detailing. Fort Worth Auto Detail is not responsible for any loss or damage to articles of personal property that have been left in the vehicle, whatever the cause.
- If areas such as the center armrest storage or glove compartment are not cleared, Fort Worth Auto Detail will not be able to clean them due to the private personal belongings.
- Due to child safety, Fort Worth Auto Detail will not remove or replace car seats under any circumstances. Fort Worth Auto Detail asks that you remove car seats and booster seats prior to service. Should the car seat be left in the vehicle, Fort Worth Auto Detail will do our best to clean around the car seat but are unable to guarantee satisfaction under such circumstances.
Conditions of Service
- Fort Worth Auto Detail reserves the right to amend any price quoted for the services should the condition of the vehicle differ from that represented by you during the process of developing the original price quote. This will typically occur due to sand, pet hair, urine, vomit, blood, feces, or other hazardous materials. If your quote will be amended, Fort Worth Auto Detail will communicate the updated price quote to you for approval prior to the commencement of your services. You must approve the updated price for the services to be performed. If you do not approve the updated price quote, no services will be performed.
- Pet hair and sand are two of the toughest items to remove from a vehicle with normal vacuuming. The removal of either element is not guaranteed, however, on most occasions we are successful at removing visual traces of both elements.
Results Not Guaranteed
- Fort Worth Auto Detail makes no guarantees when it comes to removal of stains and/or odors from vehicles. Fort Worth Auto Detail will make every effort possible to achieve the desired outcome, however, please be aware that some upholstery and carpets are beyond cleaning and may not be able to be fully restored. Some stains are permanent. Fort Worth Auto Detail may consult you on what can and cannot be done in regards to your vehicle's interior.
- Headliners are gently cleaned, however there may be remaining stains. The glue used for headliners will start to release if cleaned more aggressively or with stronger cleaners. Please understand that headliners may not come completely clean due to this reason. If you choose to clean them at your own risk, they may look clean but will sag over time due to the glue being compromised.
- Exterior black or gray, textured or smooth trim pieces may be beyond restoring and will have to be replaced. Fort Worth Auto Detail will make every effort possible to restore the plastic to its original color.
- Bird droppings, bug splatter, sap, and tar will chemically etch into your vehicle's paintwork if left for a period of time. This will result in a deep chemical mark on the paintwork that may need additional work to be safely remove. In some cases the mark cannot be removed completely without compromising the clear coat.
- Fort Worth Auto Detail is not responsible for baked on brake dust that cannot be completely removed either on the surface or deep within the wheel. Some wheels are beyond cleaning and may need to be repaired or replaced.

Accordingly, there shall be no liability and reimbursement will not be paid for any minor cosmetic damage as a result of detailing your vehicle.

Ceramic Coating
Drying Time
Your vehicle needs to stay dry for 24 hours after application.
Washing Your Vehicle
- Your vehicle cannot be washed for the next 7 days following application.
- After the initial 7 days, ceramic coatings must be washed regularly in order to maintain maximum efficacy.
- Washing should be done with a PH neutral car shampoo without any additives (you have any questions or need a recommendation, please ask Fort Worth Auto Detail).
Waxing Your Vehicle
Once your vehicle is ceramic coated is should not be waxed unless specifically authorized by Fort Worth Auto Detail
Failure to follow these instructions can result in premature failing of the ceramic coatings.
Paint Protection Film (“PPF”)
Installation Perfection
While Fort Worth Auto Detail strives for perfection in every installation, it's important to understand that due to the nature of PPF application, some minor imperfections, such as dust or debris under the film, may occur. We take every precaution to minimize these issues, but a flawless finish is not guaranteed. Older vehicles are more likely to have imperfections due to hidden dirt that we cannot completely remove without disassembling the vehicle.
Pre-Existing Conditions
Any existing imperfections in your vehicle's paint, such as rock chips, will be visible through the PPF. Fort Worth Auto Detail employs techniques to reduce the visibility of these imperfections, but they may still be noticeable, especially on darker or older vehicles. PPF will not cover or fix these pre-existing conditions.
Warranty Coverage
Fort Worth Auto Detail PPF installations come with a lifetime warranty against yellowing, cracking, and fading. However, this warranty does not cover damage from sharp or heavy objects impacting the film, improper care, environmental factors, or pre-existing damage.
Precision Cutting and Seams
Our PPF installations utilize computer software for precise cutting, but there may be visible seams, especially on complex vehicle designs or matte finishes. While we aim for a seamless look, some seams or edges may be visible, particularly on lighter-colored vehicles.
Badge and Trim Removal
In some cases, we may need to remove badges or trim to ensure a proper installation. If removal is required, we will inform you beforehand. Please note that replacing certain badges may incur additional costs, and we will do our best to retain all original lettering unless instructed otherwise. Film, badge, and decal removal may cause the paint to be damaged. By authorizing Fort Worth Auto Detail to proceed with the removal the client hereby acknowledges the risk, waives any claims against Fort Worth Auto Detail and agrees that Fort Worth Auto Detail will not be liable in the event that damage does occur during the removal process.
Drying Time
Your new PPF may take 3-4 weeks to fully cure. During the first 5 days, avoid washing the vehicle. Some water spots may appear under the film as it dries, but they will evaporate. If any remain, we will remove them after the film has fully dried.
Non-Factory Paint
We are not liable for issues that arise with non-factory paint, which is often improperly prepared and may lift. If your vehicle has been repainted, we will identify this before installation and proceed only with your consent.
Lifting
It is possible for some minor lifting of the film to occur, especially in trim areas, within the first two weeks post-installation. We offer trimming services if necessary, so please contact us if you notice any lifting.
Relief Cuts
Due to the thickness and characteristics of PPF, certain areas may require relief cuts or seams to ensure proper application. These are designed into the patterns of your vehicle and may be visible in some areas.
Window Tint
Drying Time
Window film will take approximately 30 days to fully cure. During this time, the windows may appear hazy, and you may notice small water pockets. These are normal and will disappear as the water evaporates. Please do not roll down your windows for at least 3-5 days to prevent the film from peeling.
Cleaning Guidelines
To clean your tinted windows, use a soft cloth. Avoid using ammonia-based cleaners like Windex, as they can damage the film over time. Please use ammonia-free products specifically labeled as such.
Imperfections
While we strive for perfection, minor imperfections like dust or small particles may be present due to the nature of window film application. Pre-existing flaws on the glass may also become more noticeable after tinting.
Black Dotted Edges
Some vehicles have black ceramic “frit” edges on the rear window, which can sometimes result in a whitish border where the tint meets these dots. This is a common occurrence and may give the appearance of an uneven finish along the edges.
Seat Belt Chips
Be cautious when releasing your seat belts, as they can hit the tinted windows and cause small chips in the film.
Cold Weather Caution
Avoid rolling down your windows until the vehicle is fully defrosted in cold weather, as this could cause the film to peel from the edges.
