JAG’S AUTO DETAIL – TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

1. Payment Terms & Credit Card Surcharge
– Payment is due when your service is complete, unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing.
– We accept exact-change cash and all major credit cards.
– To hold your appointment, a non-refundable deposit is required and will be applied to your final bill unless forfeited.
– Please note: there is a 3% charge on all credit card payments, which covers our cost of acceptance.
– If a payment doesn’t clear, or you dispute a charge, additional fees may apply—and a lien could be placed on your vehicle under RCW § 60.08.
– All sales are final, and deposits are non-refundable.
2. Service Conditions
– JAG’s Auto Detail offers professional automotive detailing, but we do not guarantee your vehicle will be restored to factory condition.
– We won’t perform any service that risks damage to your vehicle’s finish, function, or safety.
– Please let us know about any known issues before service (for example: dead battery, trunk won’t open, windows don’t roll down).
– If your vehicle contains any hazardous materials (needles, drugs, gasoline, mold, etc.), you must disclose that ahead of time.
– If such hazards are found during service, we may stop work. A biohazard fee might apply and must be paid before your vehicle is released.
– We reserve the right to refuse service at any time.
3. Appointments
– Each appointment is for one vehicle. Multiple vehicles require separate bookings and deposits.
– This rule may be waived for repeat or corporate customers.
– Sometimes delays happen (traffic, weather, safety). If so, we’ll notify you about any changes to your appointment time.
– Please pick up your vehicle by 5:30 p.m., unless other arrangements are made.
– Vehicles left on-site beyond business hours may incur a storage fee of $250 per day.
– We require at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel.
– If your vehicle isn’t with us within 31 minutes of your scheduled time, we will mark you as a “no-show,” and your deposit will be forfeited.
4. Property Damage
– You agree to hold JAG’s Auto Detail and its team harmless from any claims or liabilities from services provided, except in cases of gross negligence.
– Detailing involves physical work, which carries some minor risk. By requesting service, you accept that risk.
– We do not remove or reinstall aftermarket parts (subwoofers, racks, decals, etc.). Please remove those before your appointment if you want those areas cleaned.
– For interior cleaning under the A Package or JAG’s Package, we may remove child seats but will not reinstall them.
– We do not clean or handle child seats, seat belts, or pedals.
– If major damage happens because of our negligence, reimbursement will only be issued through a licensed and pre-approved repair vendor.
5. Follow-Up Policy
– If you notice any issues after your final walk-through, please email info@jagsautodetail.com within 24 hours.
– Schedule any touch-up service within 5 days of your appointment or before your vehicle has traveled 25 miles from our recorded odometer reading—whichever comes first.
– Please include a photo of your odometer with your email.
– One follow-up visit is allowed per appointment.
6. Media & Recording Devices
– We may take photos or videos of your vehicle for training, documentation, or marketing.
– These will never be sold or shared with third parties.
– If your vehicle has cabin or passenger-facing cameras, they must be turned off or covered. Tesla Sentry Mode will be disabled during service.
7. Identification Requirement
– We require a valid government-issued ID before servicing your vehicle.
– If you prefer not to provide ID, payment in full must be made in cash before service begins. Otherwise, your deposit will be refunded and your appointment canceled.
8. Additional Service Fees
– Additional fees may apply for pet hair removal, odor treatment, or biohazard cleanup if not included at booking.
– We perform only the service you select (J Package, A Package, G Package, or JAG’s Package) unless changes are confirmed beforehand.
9. Liability for Personal Items
– While we take care to protect your belongings, JAG’s Auto Detail is not responsible for personal items left in your vehicle after it leaves our premises.
– Please remove valuables before your appointment.
10. Governing Law
– These terms are governed by Washington State law, under the jurisdiction of King County.
