JAG’s Auto Detail – Terms & Conditions of Service

1. Payment Terms & Credit Card Surcharge
Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept exact-change cash and all major credit cards. A non-refundable deposit is required to hold your appointment and will be applied to your final bill unless forfeited. A 3% surcharge applies to appointments made over the phone. If a payment fails or is disputed, additional fees may apply and a lien may be placed on your vehicle under RCW § 60.08. All sales are final; deposits are non-refundable.
2. Service Conditions
We provide professional detailing but do not guarantee factory condition. We won’t perform services that risk damage to your vehicle’s finish, function, or safety. Please disclose known issues before service (e.g., dead battery, windows stuck). Hazardous materials (needles, drugs, mold, gasoline, etc.) must be disclosed. If found, service may be stopped and a biohazard fee will apply. We reserve the right to refuse service.
3. Appointments
Each appointment covers one vehicle. Separate bookings and deposits are required for multiple vehicles unless waived for repeat or corporate customers. Delays may occur due to traffic or weather; we’ll notify you of changes. Vehicles must be picked up by 5:30 p.m. unless otherwise arranged. A $250 daily storage fee applies after hours. At least 24 hours’ notice is required for reschedules or cancellations. If your vehicle isn’t presented within 31 minutes of your scheduled time, it will be marked a “no-show” and your deposit forfeited.
4. Property Damage
You agree to hold JAG’s Auto Detail and its owners harmless from claims unless due to gross negligence. Detailing involves physical work and inherent risk, which you accept by booking. We do not remove or reinstall aftermarket parts (e.g., racks, subwoofers). For interior packages, we may remove child seats but will not reinstall or clean them. We do not clean seat belts or pedals. Reimbursement for any damage caused by us will be made only through a licensed, pre-approved vendor.
5. Follow-Up Policy
Report concerns by emailing info@jagsautodetail.com within 24 hours of your final walk-through. Touch-up service must be scheduled within 5 days or before 25 additional miles—whichever comes first. Include a photo of your odometer. Only one follow-up visit is allowed per appointment.
6. Media & Recording Devices
Photos/videos may be taken for training, documentation, or marketing purposes. They will not be sold or shared. Cabin-facing cameras must be turned off or covered. Tesla Sentry Mode will be disabled during service.
7. Identification Requirement
A valid government-issued ID is required before service. If not provided, full payment in cash is due before we begin. Otherwise, your deposit will be refunded and your appointment canceled.
8. Additional Service Fees
Pet hair removal, odor treatment, and biohazard cleanup may incur mandatory fees if not included at booking. We perform only the selected service package unless changes are confirmed beforehand.
9. Liability for Personal Items
We are not responsible for items left in the vehicle after it leaves our premises. Please remove valuables before drop-off.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Washington State law under King County jurisdiction.
