The terms and conditions set forth herein reflect the policies of Elite Automotive – Auto Repair & Diagnostics (“Elite Automotive NY Inc”) with respect to each of its customers. By scheduling service, submitting a booking request, or authorizing work, all customers agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined below.
General Policy
Our philosophy is to provide a professional, transparent, and stress-free automotive repair and diagnostic experience.
The safety of your vehicle, our technicians, and our facility is our top priority. Elite Automotive will not perform any service that poses a known risk of damage or unsafe operation without prior discussion and authorization.
Prior to service, the vehicle owner must disclose any known mechanical, electrical, or operational issues that may affect diagnosis or repair, including but not limited to: low battery voltage, warning lights, drivability issues, prior repairs, aftermarket modifications, or existing damage.
Vehicle Condition & Safety
Customers must notify Elite Automotive if a vehicle contains any hazardous materials or poses a health or safety risk. This includes, but is not limited to, sharp objects, biohazards, fuel leaks, drug paraphernalia, or unsafe aftermarket wiring. Customers will be held responsible for any safety issues arising from undisclosed hazards.
Elite Automotive reserves the right to refuse service for any vehicle deemed unsafe, inaccessible, or unsuitable for repair.
Estimates & Authorization
All estimates are based on initial inspection and/or diagnostic findings. Final repair costs may vary based on additional findings during the repair process.
No repairs will be performed without customer authorization. Authorization may be given in person, by phone, text message, or email.
Diagnostic fees apply when troubleshooting is required and are separate from repair costs. Diagnostic fees are non-refundable and do not guarantee a repair outcome.
Appointments & Scheduling
Scheduled appointments and booking requests are not guaranteed service times until confirmed by Elite Automotive.
Elite Automotive makes every effort to meet scheduled timelines; however, delays may occur due to parts availability, diagnostic complexity, or unforeseen repair conditions. Customers will be notified of significant changes.
Vehicles not picked up within a reasonable timeframe after repair completion may be subject to storage fees.
Pricing & Payment
Pricing varies based on vehicle type, condition, labor required, and parts availability.
Payment is due upon completion of service and prior to vehicle release unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Elite Automotive accepts cash and major credit cards. Additional fees may apply for returned payments or insufficient funds.
Customer Property & Personal Items
Elite Automotive is not responsible for personal items left in the vehicle. Customers are encouraged to remove valuables prior to service.
Elite Automotive will not install, remove, or modify aftermarket accessories, custom equipment, or non-factory components unless explicitly discussed and authorized.
Liability & Risk Acknowledgment
Automotive repair involves inherent risks, including the possibility of component failure due to age, wear, or pre-existing conditions. Elite Automotive is not responsible for failures unrelated to the services performed.
Elite Automotive shall not be held liable for incidental or consequential damages unless caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct. Any reimbursement or corrective action will be determined at Elite Automotive’s discretion and may require third-party evaluation.
Post-Service Concerns
If an issue arises related to the performed service, the customer must notify Elite Automotive within 48 hours of vehicle pickup. Concerns reported outside this timeframe may not be eligible for review.
Elite Automotive must be given the opportunity to inspect and address any concerns before outside repairs are performed.
Photographs & Video
Customers grant Elite Automotive permission to photograph or record vehicles for documentation, training, or marketing purposes. Media will not be sold or shared with third parties.
Indemnification
Each customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Elite Automotive, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from vehicle condition, undisclosed issues, or use of the vehicle following service completion.
