PowHer Mobile Detailing — Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("terms") govern the booking and provision of mobile detailing services by Nicole Finningley doing business as PowHer Mobile Detailing ("PowHer Mobile Detailing", "we", "our", or "us"). By booking a service with PowHer Mobile Detailing, the customer ("customer", "you", or "your") agrees to these terms.
Appointments
All services are by appointment only. Appointments can be booked through PowHer Mobile Detailing’s website. A booking is confirmed when the customer receives a confirmation message from us.
We will arrive as close to the scheduled appointment time as possible. However, sometimes situations can occur that will disrupt the daily schedule. Our safety will never be compromised by rushing to meet a schedule. The customer will be called and advised of a revised arrival time when schedules change beyond our control. If the revised arrival time is not suitable, the customer may choose to reschedule the service to a mutually convenient date and time.
Cancellation Policy
Once an appointment is confirmed, the customer must provide a minimum 24-hour notice to change or cancel an appointment. Changes or cancellations with less than 24-hour notice impact our ability to serve other clients and may result in a $25 cancellation fee or refusal of service for repeat occurrences.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments in case of emergencies or circumstances outside our control, and we reserve the right to refuse service. If severe weather affects our ability to safely work, we’ll reschedule the customer’s appointment to a mutually convenient date and time.
The customer is responsible for informing us if personal items in their vehicle pose a potential threat to our health and/or safety. If there is the threat of any harmful substances (needles, drugs, gasoline, etc.) in the vehicle, you must let your detail technician know prior to your detail. For safety reasons, we do not service vehicles that contain interior mold, mildew, infestations, blood, bodily fluids, or other biohazardous materials. If such contaminants and hazards are discovered on-site, or if the cleaning space is unsafe or insufficient, we will refuse or stop service. Customers are asked not to book services if they are aware that their vehicle contains any of these conditions.
If your vehicle cannot be detailed once we arrive, you will still be charged the full amount of your scheduled appointment (this includes not being present once we arrive and not leaving access to the keys).
Services & Scope of Work
PowHer Mobile Detailing provides professional mobile auto detailing and car wash services at the customer’s home or approved location. Our services are cosmetic cleaning services only and do not include mechanical inspection, diagnosis, or repair of any vehicle components.
We supply the equipment, tools, and cleaning products necessary to perform the booked service(s). You supply access to a functional electric outlet and a water source (hose spigot).
Only the services agreed upon at booking will be completed.
Vehicle Access and Service Conditions
The vehicle being serviced must be accessible, unlocked (or keys provided) and parked in a safe location with enough space to work around. PowHer Mobile Detailing will not operate or drive customer vehicles at any time during the service.
Personal Items
Personal items must be removed from the vehicle before we arrive. For your privacy and safety, we do not detail or clean around areas where personal items remain in the vehicle (including consoles, glove compartments, seat pockets, or trunks with belongings inside).
PowHer Mobile Detailing will neither install nor remove any additional equipment inside or outside of your vehicle unless deemed absolutely necessary. We will neither install nor remove any custom equipment including, without limitation, car seats, seat covers, subwoofers, light bars, pet protectors, truck bed covers, and bumper stickers. Any such items remaining will be cleaned around, not under. To ensure we can access all the areas you want us to clean, please have them removed prior to your appointment.
Pricing
The price quoted for your service is determined by size, package, and condition reported by you when you book. At the beginning of the appointment, we will do a pre-detail inspection of the vehicle with you to determine whether additional fees are required for the condition of the vehicle, excessive debris removal, and/or extreme conditions that take longer to treat, including but not limited to extensive tree sap deposits. All additional costs will be discussed and agreed upon prior to beginning work. If the additional costs cannot be agreed upon, the service will proceed within the originally booked scope and timeframe, and the vehicle will be detailed to the best of our ability within those limitations.
Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept cash, e-transfer, credit cards, and approved gift cards.
Limitation of Liability
Performing proper detailing techniques is our first priority. We will not perform any service that shows potential to cause harm or damage to the vehicle, however, due to the wide variety of vehicle ages and conditions, PowHer Mobile Detailing cannot verify all pre-existing cosmetic damage or component vulnerabilities prior to beginning service.
During the pre-detail inspection, the customer must advise us, and we will rely on such advice to avoid potential harm or damage, about cosmetic or mechanical issues that would prevent us from completing the detail, and identify any components or parts already damaged, broken or in a condition about to fail, so that extra care can be taken during the cleaning process in these areas.
Furthermore, the customer must advise us, and we will rely on such advice to avoid potential harm or damage, of any reason why a pressure washer cannot be used on the exterior of the vehicle.
PowHer Mobile Detailing is not liable for:
- damage to paint or other finishes that had already started to lift or crack off the surface;
- pre-existing damage such as scratches, rust, faded paint, or general wear and tear;
- damage to aged or fragile interior components, including trims, seals, leather, or upholstery;
- water damage in vehicles with pre-existing seal or weather-stripping issues; and
- loss or damage to personal items or custom equipment left inside the vehicle. The customer is advised to remove all such items prior to the appointment.
We may take photographs of the vehicle before and after the service for quality assurance and documentation purposes.
Service Satisfaction
There are no guarantees of bringing a vehicle back to a specific condition (i.e. Show Room New).
If the customer is not satisfied with the quality of the service, or if the customer finds damage after the post-detail inspection that is not excluded under the limitation of liability above, the customer must notify PowHer Mobile Detailing within 12 hours of service completion by email, to: info@powhermobiledetailing.ca and must include a description of the issue and photographs clearly showing the area of concern. PowHer Mobile Detailing will be given the opportunity to inspect the issue and reasonably correct the service, which may include re-performing portions of the detailing service or repairing damage. Refunds will not be issued unless PowHer Mobile Detailing determines, at our sole discretion, that the service cannot reasonably be corrected.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
PowHer Mobile Detailing reserves the right to update the terms, conditions, pricing, and/or promotions at any time.
