Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions outline the policies of First Class Detailing with respect to all our customers. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Our Philosophy
Our goal is to provide a stress-free detailing experience. Your vehicle and the application of proper detailing techniques are our top priorities. We will not perform any service that could potentially harm or damage your vehicle. Before we begin any service, you must inform us of any cosmetic or mechanical issues that might prevent us from completing the detail. Examples include a low battery, a trunk that won't open, or windows that don't roll down.
If your vehicle poses a health or safety risk, such as containing harmful substances (e.g., needles, drugs, gasoline), please notify us before the detailing service. You will be responsible for any health or safety issues arising from your vehicle.
If we are unable to detail your vehicle upon arrival, you will still be charged the full amount for the scheduled appointment, even if you are not present.
First Class Detailing reserves the right to refuse service.
Appointments
We aim to arrive as close to the scheduled time as possible. However, unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. Your safety and ours are paramount, and we will not rush to meet a schedule. We will notify you of any changes to our arrival time due to disruptions beyond our control.
Pricing is based on the vehicle's size, package, and condition. Additional charges may apply for heavy stains, excessive pet hair, debris removal, personal item removal, and steam cleaning due to the extra time required.
You agree to remove any personal items from your vehicle before our scheduled appointment. This will help us ensure a smooth and thorough detailing process.
We do not install or remove car seats or custom equipment. Please remove car seats and custom equipment before your appointment if you want them cleaned underneath.
Property Damage
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless First Class Detailing, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any damage, loss, expense, claim, or liability (including attorney and legal fees) arising from our services. This includes accidental property damage unrelated to the services performed. You acknowledge the potential risk of property damage inherent in our business and accept that risk.
Appointment Changes and Cancellations
A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to change or cancel an appointment. A hold for the full appointment amount may be placed on your credit/debit card 24 hours before the appointment.
An appointment is defined as one scheduled vehicle. Bookings for multiple cars will incur multiple cancellation fees. For example, a $500 booking with 5 appointments at $100 each, if canceled after the approved timeframe, may incur a $250 cancellation fee.
If you need to change your appointment with less than 24 hours' notice, you have the following options:
1. Reschedule: Change your appointment to another date and time at no additional cost. You will be charged at the time of rescheduling.
2. Cancel: Cancel your appointment with a cancellation fee. The hold will be released, and you will be charged the cancellation fee if canceled within 24 hours. Cancellations with less than 6 hours' notice are limited to options 1 or 3. An appointment is only considered canceled once confirmed with a First Class Detailing representative.
3. Convert to Gift Card: Convert the full appointment amount to a gift card for personal use or as a gift. This option may not be available for fleet or business vehicle bookings.
We may withdraw this option for fleet or business vehicle bookings.
No Guarantees
We do not guarantee a specific condition of your vehicle (e.g., showroom new).
Payment
We accept cash, checks, Venmo, and credit cards. Payment is due upon completion of the detail. If payment was made online, your card will not be charged until after the service is completed, unless a deposit is required. Additional charges may apply for non-sufficient funds or returned payments.
Photographs and Video
You grant us permission to take photos or videos of your vehicle for marketing purposes. These images will not be sold or shared with third parties.
Damage and Accidents
We will not provide reimbursement for minor cosmetic damage resulting from detailing. Reimbursement for major damage caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct will be considered, with approval required for any body shop or vendor before issuing reimbursement.
If issues arise after the detail that were not noticed during the final inspection, you must contact us within 24 hours and, if necessary, schedule a touch-up detail within 5 days.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless First Class Detailing, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any liabilities, expenses, damages, and costs, including legal fees, resulting from any service provided or injury occurring after our services are completed.
