Terms & Conditions
By booking an appointment with Eyez On The Prize Auto-Spa, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies are in place to protect both the customer and the business, ensure quality service, and maintain professionalism at all times.
1. General Auto Detailing Disclaimer
All detailing services provided are done with the utmost care and attention using professional-grade tools, products, and techniques.
We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, damage, or wear that may become more visible after cleaning or detailing (e.g., swirl marks, stains, fading, clear coat failure).
Customers must remove all valuables and personal items from the vehicle prior to the appointment. We are not responsible for any lost or misplaced items.
2. Paint Correction Disclaimer
Paint correction is a labor-intensive process that involves removing defects from the vehicle’s clear coat. While every effort is made to safely restore gloss and clarity, results will vary depending on the age, condition, and type of paint.
Eyez On The Prize Auto-Spa is not responsible for prior damage such as repainting, failing clear coat, resprayed panels, or poorly maintained surfaces that may result in subpar correction or further issues during the polishing process.
Multi-stage paint correction can thin the clear coat; the customer assumes all risks when authorizing this service.
3. Ceramic Coating Services
Ceramic coating provides added protection and gloss but does not make the vehicle impervious to scratches, water spots, or damage.
Proper maintenance is the customer’s responsibility post-coating. Lack of care may reduce the longevity of the coating and will void any potential warranty or touch-up guarantee.
Eyez On The Prize Auto-Spa is not responsible for defects in paint or clear coat that may affect bonding or coating performance.
4. Smoke Odor Removal Disclaimer
Smoke odor removal is a specialized process that includes ozone treatment, deep cleaning, and surface disinfection. While most odors can be significantly reduced or eliminated, we do not guarantee 100% odor removal in all cases.
Heavily saturated fabrics, headliners, and HVAC systems may retain some odor. We are not liable for lingering smells due to embedded contaminants beyond the reach of standard cleaning methods.
Customers must disclose all known sources of odor (smoke, pets, mold, etc.) when booking this service.
5. Engine Bay Detailing Disclaimer
Engine bay detailing is performed with care using low-pressure water and non-caustic degreasers. However, due to the sensitive nature of modern engine compartments, Eyez On The Prize Auto-Spa is not liable for any electrical issues, check engine lights, sensor malfunctions, or mechanical failures that may occur during or after the service.
6. Child Safety Seats / Booster Seats
Customers must remove all child safety seats and booster seats from the vehicle prior to drop-off.
Eyez On The Prize Auto-Spa will not uninstall, reinstall, or adjust any child seats due to liability and safety concerns.
We are not responsible for any issues, injuries, or improper use related to car seats after detailing. It is the vehicle owner's sole responsibility to reinstall and verify proper fitment and function.
7. Booking, Deposits & Cancellation
A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure certain services such as paint correction or ceramic coating. This deposit is applied to the final service cost.
Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment may result in a cancellation fee.
No-shows or repeated rescheduling may result in loss of future booking privileges.
8. Card Transaction Fees
A 3.0% transaction fee is applied to all debit and credit card payments to cover processing costs.
We accept other forms of payment such as Cash App, Venmo, Apple Pay or cash if you’d like to avoid the transaction fee.
9. Liability Waiver
By booking a service, you agree to release Eyez On The Prize Auto-Spa and its team from any liability for damage that may occur during or as a result of services performed, unless directly caused by proven negligence.
This includes but is not limited to electronics damaged by pre-existing leaks, trim detachment due to brittle plastic, or mechanical issues unrelated to detailing services.
10. Media Release
Eyez On The Prize Auto-Spa may photograph or record vehicles before, during, or after services for promotional use. Personal license plates will be blurred unless otherwise requested.
If you do not wish your vehicle to be featured on our social media or marketing platforms, please notify us in advance.
11. Identity Verification Requirement
For any high-value services (e.g., ceramic coating, paint correction, full interior restorations), we require proof of identity at the time of service if paying with debit or credit card. Name must match from ID and form of payment.
Accepted forms of ID include: Driver’s License, Passport, or State-Issued Identification Card.
This policy is in place to protect against fraud and ensure the safety and integrity of our services and payment process.
12. Payment Policy (non-negotiable)
Payment is due immediately upon completion of service.
Accepted forms of payment include credit/debit card, Venmo, Cash App, Apple Pay, or cash unless otherwise agreed upon prior to service. Failure to submit payment upon completion may result in refusal of future services.
13. Access & Safety Clause
Client agrees to provide safe and reasonable access to the vehicle at the scheduled appointment time. Eyez on the Prize Auto-Spa is not responsible for delays or incomplete services due to lack of access, unsafe conditions, or unavailable utilities (water/electricity when required).
14. Satisfaction & Liability Limit
Any concerns must be communicated at the time-of-service completion. Liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. Eyez on the Prize Auto-Spa is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages.
15. Agreement
By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the above terms and conditions. This agreement is binding upon payment of your deposit or confirmation of your appointment.
